Health Services
Health Services provides comprehensive acute health care for students, including caring for musculoskeletal injuries; assisting students in meeting their health needs; and facilitating a partnership with students to increase their knowledge of health and healthcare issues.
Students Served
Our primary clinical services are delivered by Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Registered Nurses (RN). Our Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses have seen an average of nearly 1000 unique students per semester since Spring 2024.

Nurse Triage Line Calls
Students call the Nurse Triage Line for an initial screening to determine the type and urgency of care required and to schedule appointments.

Vaccination Compliance
Vermont State law requires college students to be vaccinated against a range of communicable diseases. Health Services is responsible for monitoring and facilitating compliance with this law as new students join our campus community.
Highlight: Improving Care Through Peer Review
A culture of continual self-assessment is essential in providing the best possible care to patients. Health Services embraced this principal in 2024, with 80 RN and 80 NP peer reviews completed in 2024. All care was found to be clinically appropriate for a college health setting.
