All Presidents and Treasurers are required to attend a training/workshop each semester.
Leaders who are NEW TO THEIR ROLE must attend a training held prior to the September 25th registration deadline. These are listed in the Treasurer Training and President Training sections below.
Leaders RETURNING TO THEIR SAME ROLE must RSVP to a training prior to the deadline from any of the three sections below.
Trainings in the Topic and Skill Based section below are open to all leaders but only count towards the training requirement for returning leaders.
Please RSVP for the appropriate session below. Session sizes are limited so reserve your spot early in your preferred session.

Leadership Styles
What kind of leader are you? How does knowing your leadership style help you work with others in your organization and in life? In this interactive session, we will engage with a few different leadership “type” models (knowing that a framework is just a tool for understanding our complex and mutli-faceted selves!), considering what these models can teach us about ourselves and how we operate in the various hats we wear in daily life.

Managing Conflict
When conflict arises in your organization (and it will!), how do you respond? What is your go-to “conflict style” and what kinds of tools can you use in moments of heightened tension? In this session, we’ll learn about some ways to understand our own reactions to conflict, and think about ways to de-escalate, reframe, and work together towards transforming relationships in the wake of conflict.
