COVID-19: Essential Information

Library Assistance

One of the learning goals for the First Year Seminar mentions research and the use of sources.  As a recent survey suggests, incoming College students--even those at a selective College like Middlebury--have a lot to learn in this area.

Rest assured, however, that in teaching these skills, you are not alone!  The Library staff are ready and willing to help.

Please refer to the library research page for details. A list of resources for faculty can be found here.

Questions about academic integrity are likely to come to the fore when you are working on research and the use of sources.  In this regard, the Academic Integrity Tutorial, which is administered by Carrie MacFarlane, may be helpful to you and your class.

As we all know, research always has a collaborative aspect; we encourage you to collaborate with the library staff!
