After graduating in 2004, Daniel Koppel spent two years in Bennington, Vermont working as the Music Director for the Second Congregational Church of Londonderry and serving as an accompanist at Bennington College. In 2006 he married fellow Middlebury alumna Mary Montgomery and the couple relocated to Boston, Massachusetts. Since arriving in Boston, Daniel has established a career as a financial advisor while continuing to be very involved in the city’s music community. From 2006 to 2009 Daniel served as the Music Director for the United Church of Christ in Abington, directing three choirs and performing all organ and piano music. Currently Daniel is a tenor in the Brookline Chorus, where he is also the chair of the Concert Committee, and is the treasurer for Juventas Music Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to the performance of music by young living composers.
