I have been the Chief of Urology at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore for the past 25 years, but am taking a lot more time off.  Since 1992 I have run the Baltimore Cancer Support Group, which remains a labor of love.  Being around people of courage is an uplifting experience.

Spending 2-3 months in Naples, Florida, I try to hit a little white ball in a generally straight direction. Susan and I are having fun being grandparents to three boys (Brendan, Mac and Quinn) and one girl (Jessica).  I now clearly understand why having children is at best a young person's pursuit. Both of my children, Michael (class of '89) and Laura (class of '92) are handling that job with humor and style.

I am having a great life. The pains last longer and some complaints just don't go away but the journey is glorious and I continue to be amazed by it.

Just live the moment.
And whatever qualities and whatever talents you have,
use them to the fullest.
