Kate Wallace

A native of Vermont, Kate graduated from Middlebury College in 2023 with a major in English and a minor in History of Art and Architectural Studies. During her junior year, she spent a semester studying at Oxford University through Middlebury’s Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies where she gained valuable research experience, which inspired her to write a senior thesis on Marilynne Robinson’s novels. Outside the classroom, Kate worked as both a tour guide and tour guide coordinator in the Middlebury Admissions office and played the oboe in the college orchestra. One of her favorite parts of being a Middlebury student was introducing friends from far and wide to her home state and (finally!) learning to downhill ski at the Middlebury College Snow Bowl.
