Stacey Woody Thebodo received her BA in Psychology from Central College and a Master's of International Administration with a focus in International Education, from the School for International Training (SIT). As an undergraduate Stacey studied abroad in Mexico and England and interned at a social services agency in London. Prior to coming to Middlebury College in 1997, Stacey worked for SIT and was a Study Abroad Adviser at the University of Vermont. She is the author of several publications and has presented at many conferences on topics such as education abroad advising, sustainable study abroad, strategic student survey assessment, using technology in study abroad advising, blogging and reflective writing, cross-cultural re-entry, and working effectively with parents. As Assistant Director of International Programs and Off-Campus Study, Stacey advises students who participate in externally-sponsored study abroad programs, as well as the Middlebury-CMRS Oxford program.
