Summer Programs Payment Options

Summer 2021 bills for Language Schools, MiddCORE, and Bread Loaf School of English will be emailed to students mid-April and thereafter on a weekly basis. Payment in full must be made or students must be enrolled in a payment plan through Nelnet Campus Commerce by June 1. Returning students with outstanding balances will not be able to re-enroll until the outstanding balances are paid in full.

Students will receive an e-mail from notifying them that an invoice is ready to view. New students need to click the link in the ebill notification email, set up their user account, and, if needed, add authorized payers.

Steps to set up your online student account in Nelnet:

1. Set up your User Account
An email will be sent to you when your eBill statement is available.
Click on the link in the email to create your User Account.
2. Add Authorized Payer (if needed)
Once you have created your User Account select "My Profile" from the welcome page.
Click "Manage Payers."
Click "Add Authorized Payer" and enter in required information, click "Save" to generate email to the authorized payer that instructs them on how to set up their account

Students can make electronic bank transfer and credit card payments on Nelnet.
Payments by electronic bank transfer and credit card can be made directly on student Nelnet accounts.  All credit card payments are assessed a 2.75% processing fee by Nelnet.  To make payments, log on to your student Nelnet account and click on “Make a Payment.”

A summer payment plan enrollment option will be on Nelnet after the bill email is sent to students around mid-April.
To enroll in the payment plan, log on to your Nelnet account after receiving the bill email. From the welcome page select "Set up Payment Plan" next to the summer 2021 term.  Follow the steps to complete the payment plan terms.  Payers are charged $20 by Nelnet to participate in the plan, but there is no interest on the scheduled payments.

Option 1:
Enrollment available until May 1
No down payment
Scheduled payments: May 5, June 5, July 5, August 5

Option 2:
Enrollment available until June 1
20% down payment
Scheduled payments: June 5, July 5, August 5

Payments made by check should be payable to Middlebury College.
Please mail the check with student name and student ID written in the check memo or include a note with the check that has this important information for processing the check and accurately crediting the student account.  The mailing address is: Middlebury College, Student Financial Services Cashier, 84 South Service Road, Middlebury, VT  05753.

International payments can be made directly within Nelnet.
Log in to your Nelnet student account and click on Make a Payment.  There is an option for international payments. There is a partnership with Western Union Global Pay, and WU will assist you with your payment.

Third party payer and special requests should be directed to the Student Financial Services office.
