Workshops

Attend one or more of a series of workshops 45 minutes in length during this time period focused on case studies in different types of consulting firms.  See below for the various workshop options.

1:45 - 2:30 p.m.

Presentation Case Interview (Axinn 229)

Chris Bernene ’90 and Kevin Benscheidt ’17 of Oliver Wyman will discuss an emerging interview method, “Presentation case” interview as part of the consulting recruiting process.  It involves getting some information, having ~30 minutes to review it and think about it, and then ~30 minutes to lead a discussion with a couple of consultants about it.  Interview candidates have to be efficient in analysis, clear in thinking, and be able to discern the key points for discussion.

2:45 - 3:30 p.m.

Case Interview Workshop (Axinn 229)

Matt Floyd ’17.5 and Hannah Ouyachi ’18 of Deloitte will focus on what case interviews are about, why they are important to certain consulting firms in their selection process, and how to prepare for them.  This is an important session to attend if you are interested in pursuing consulting opportunities with strategy, management, and select other consultancies.  It will also be a precursor for the Summer Case Buddy Program.

3:45 - 4:30 p.m.

Brand Consulting Case Study  (Axinn 229)

Ron Cappello P’21 of Infinia Group will focus on an example case study to give you a better understanding of the nature of brand consulting, types of clients, their service needs, and whether it may be appropriate for you.  Bring your questions.

3:45 - 4:30 p.m.

Strategy Consulting Case Study (Axinn 219)

Courtney Matson ’06 of BroadBranch Advisors will focus on an example case study to give you a better understanding of the nature of strategy consulting, types of clients, their service needs, and whether it may be appropriate for you.  Bring your questions.
