Services for Commencement Guests with Disabilities

Sky View

Middlebury College is pleased to offer the following services available to guests with disabilities during Commencement Weekend. Services will be clearly marked with signs posted at each event. In addition, there will be ushers at primary events throughout the weekend wearing badges with the wheelchair logo. Please feel free to ask for assistance.

Please provide ample notice (two week minimum) when requesting accommodations. The College may not be able to accommodate requests that are made on short notice, that would pose an undue hardship, or that would fundamentally alter the nature of the College's events or programs.

Wheelchairs: A limited number of wheelchairs are available for the weekend with an ADVANCE reservation through the Student Accessibility Services Office. We may be unable to accommodate requests placed after May 1.

Please contact Jodi Litchfield in the Student Accessibility Services Office for further information on any of these services or their locations. You may reach her at 802.443.5936 (voice), 802.443.7437 (TTY), or via e-mail at litchfie@middlebury.edu.
