Middlebury met another milestone on its way to 100 percent renewable energy with the recent unveiling of a new solar array in Vermont. The five-gigawatt site will provide Middlebury with 40 percent of its total electricity. The other 60 percent comes from the biomass plant, other solar energy sites, and Green Mountain Power.
