Renowned choreographer Ishmael Houston-Jones led the first in a new series of community workshops entitled “Movement Matters: Global Body in Conflict.” Sponsored by the Middlebury dance department and funded by the Kathryn Wasserman Davis Collaborative in Conflict Transformation, the series brings together students and staff to explore conflict-related goals such as talking across differences and creating competency and awareness.
