Rebuilding Lives

The College is helping women to rebuild their lives after incarceration as the first employer partner in the Building Employment and Meaning (BEAM) program, which is administered by Vermont Works for Women and the Vermont Department of Corrections. Currently in its pilot stage, the program provides assistance with housing, employment, transportation, and social support, while Middlebury is able to recruit much-needed staff.
