Victory in Threes

The Middlebury women’s lacrosse team captured its third-straight NCAA championship, defeating Gettysburg College. The team concluded its season with an unblemished 23-0 record, the program’s ninth undefeated campaign. The championship game coincided with College Commencement celebrations, so the victorious seniors received their diplomas in a separate ceremony the following Tuesday.
