Civic Leadership

We have a range of programming that inspires students to hone their civic leadership skills and take action on the social issues that matter most to them.
Our civic leadership programs foster team leadership skills, promote long-term relationships with community partners and peers, and address social issues in Addison County and beyond. Our civic leadership programs include advising student leaders of 12+ Community Engagement Organizations (CEOs) and supervising 40+ Civic Leadership Fellows supporting CCE programs in a variety of ways.

Community Advisory Board
The Community Advisory Board brings together faculty, partners, students, and staff throughout the academic year to discuss community engagement and community-connected learning at Middlebury. This group helps set the CCE’s strategic directions, build networks, and share knowledge for community engaged learning.
Students are invited to apply to participate in the Community Advisory Board.
