    First Show: Look, Dream, Begin, is a series of brand new, short plays from around the world interwoven into an inventive, truthful, and life-affirming piece about what it means to dream up a future during climate crisis. Directed by Madison Middleton ’22.5; making their Midd debuts are Max Blumenthal ‘27, Odette Castillo ‘27, Emma Dobson ‘27, Jenny Fede ‘26, Virginia Frau ‘27, Claire Hatch ‘26, Allison Hurd ‘27, Nitya Kaul ‘27, Sean Lovett ‘23.5, Edith Mauch ‘27, Sara McKillip ‘25, and Moriah Thompson ‘25.Cole Newman ‘26 is the Stage Manager, with Jiawen Li ‘27 as Assistant Stage Manager.

Their hit “The World Was Waiting” feels spot-on, as we’ve been eagerly awaiting their return ever since their joyous, sold-out Middlebury performance in March 2020, just before the pandemic hit.

  • Equestrian Team Home Show

    Please join the Middlebury College Equestrian Team for the annual home show at the Eddy Farm School! We will compete in both jumping and hunt seat equitation against other schools across the New England region such as UVM, UNH, UMaine, Northeastern, and Colby Sawyer. Concessions will be available throughout the day. We hope you are able to come cheer on our riders!

    It is our pleasure to welcome Coco Saelim to Ralph Myhre to provide an exclusive opportunity to our members and golfing community. Coco will be providing Therapeutic Massage Treatments on Sundays and Mondays Ralph Myhre in the weeks ahead.

    Coco Saelim is a native of Bangkok Thailand, where she studied traditional Thai massage at the Wat Pho Chtawan Traditional Thai Medical and Massage School, the world’s pre-eminent school of traditional Thai massage; as well as undertaking advanced training at The Shivagakomarpaj School of Thai Massage in Chiang Mai Thailand.

  • Community Friends Scavenger Hunt

    The Community Friends Club will be hosting a fall scavenger hunt throughout the day on Sunday, October 8. Anytime between 10am and 5pm, each mentor and their mentee can pick up their first clue at the CCE and follow the remaining clues around campus; each stop will have a fun activity! The CCE will be the “home base” and “end base.”

  • Power Yoga with Claire Quigley & Kate Dudley

    Claire and Kate will lead a 60-minute power yoga class. Students who take 8 classes are eligible to receive PE credit. Mats will be provided to those that need them.

    Described as spiritual, joyful, powerful, and raucous, Shape Note (or Sacred Harp) singing is a traditional American style of four-part, a capella, community singing popular in the United States before the Civil War. This style still thrives across the US and in the UK, with strongholds in the American South and New England. It is called Shape-Note because the notes of the scale are indicated by distinctive shapes and names: Fa – triangle, Sol – circle, La – square, and Mi – diamond.

    We are a non-denominational and non-religious meditation group run by students. Prajna is a safe and welcoming space for all students who want to learn more about or practice mediation and mindfulness. At our meetings, you can expect guided meditations and other mindfulness practices, with breaks in between for conversation and chai. Prajna also hosts retreats throughout the year. All Prajna activities are open to anyone, regardless of experience!

All Prajna activities are open to anyone, regardless of experience! Drop by weekly, or once a semester, as a way to recenter yourself and start the week on a positive note.
