    After returning home for their father’s funeral, a trio of Mormon siblings; Hem, Zooey, and Ollie; embark on a desperate adventure to spread their father’s ashes and escape a bloodthirsty serial killer. Written by Middlebury playwright Cole Merrell (’21), Destroying Angels is a twisted road-trip dramedy that discusses the effects of religion on your family, your friends, and yourself.     Ousmane Omari Wiles is an African American West African and Vogue dancer, who has performed at performed at the Joyce Theater, Harlem Stage, Gibney Dance, and with Works and Process at the Guggenheim, and Lincoln Center.

    Performance contains haze, flashing and strobe lights.

    Sophie Shao & Friends

    Acclaimed Cellist Sophie Shao collaborates with our Performing Arts Series each season to bring a fresh chamber music performance—this year, responding to our request for a program celebrating composer Sergei Rachmaninoff’s 150th birthday. She’s joined by violinist Scott Yoo and pianist John Novacek for Rachmaninoff’s Piano Trio élégiaque No. 1, Reena Esmail’s Piano Trio, and more. and If you’ve never heard Shao play before, or if you’re a veteran of her concerts, you’ll revel in her remarkable ability to assemble impromptu ensembles that shine.

    Art vs. the Apocalypse Arts Workshop

    Ibiyinka Olufemi Alao, Nigeria’s art ambassador to the United Nations, visual artist, filmmaker, architect and author will lead a visual art (painting) workshop as part of the Art vs the Apocalypse event. Alao’s paintings center redemption, peace and love, and lately reflect a long-standing fascination with fireflies. Materials provided. Open to Middlebury College students.

  • Eating Disorder Awareness and Recovery Campus Walk

    Join Health & Wellness Education and Midd S.P.E.A.K. for a walk to spread awareness about eating disorders and eating disorder recovery. Students and staff will speak, participants will be invited to join a 1 mile walk across campus and then gather for refreshments and conversation following the walk.

    Students stop by outside of Ross Dining hall to pick out a clay pot to decorate at tables with art supplies that will be provided. After decorating, choose plant clipping to place in your pot for Earth Day.

  • Saturday Charter House Engagement Session

    Charter House Coalition is a volunteer-based, community supported service organization that provides shelter, warm meals, and friendly faces to those in Middlebury who need assistance. The Student Organization is seeking students who are interested in community service that revolves around homelessness and food insecurity. We’ll be cooking, serving, and chatting with the residents. Every Saturday, we’ll have fun and be able to connect with the Middlebury community outside of the college.
