  • Climate and Justice Teach In

Middlebury joins hundreds of educational institutions around the world (in more than 50 countries and most US states) in the World Wide Teach-In on Climate and Justice between April 1-8, 2024. This will continue ongoing campus-wide conversations and engage students, faculty, and staff as we grapple with a time of planetary crisis and transformation.

During the week of April 1-5, all faculty are asked to devote at least five minutes of their classroom time to a conversation about climate solutions and justice so that we can engage as many of our community members as possible.

  • From Climate Despair to Climate Repair: Pedagogical Approaches to Teaching Climate

To help raise awareness for Worldwide Climate Justice and Education Week, the CTLR welcomes you to a conversation with faculty and staff colleagues, led by Julia Berazneva (Economics) and Minna Brown (Climate Action Program). What creative steps, big and small, could we each take to insert a little climate education into our teaching this week and beyond? We will gather around the lunch table to explore this question with those who are experienced in this practice and those who are wanting to learn how.

Please register for this event by Thursday March 28th
