    Beginner/Intermediate Ballet with Barbara Doyle-Wilch

    Ballet returns to the Dance Department this Spring. Classical Ballet technique in traditional ballet class structure. No pointe shoes, please.
    Each session is open to a maximum of 20 participants. PE credit is available for attendance at 8 classes. Previous dance experience in any form is recommended.

    We are thrilled to be screening the 1996 documentary film “My Knees Were Jumping: Remembering the Kindertransports,” in honor of the upcoming Holocaust Remembrance Day. Even more thrilling, film director Melissa Hacker will join us in person for the screening and a discussion afterward. The film tells the story of The Kindertransport movement which brought nearly 10,000 children to Great Britain from Nazi Germany, Austria, Czechoslovakia and Poland, before the advent of World War II, saving many of their lives.

  • Voices of Indigenous Peoples Weekly Planning Meeting

    Please come join the members of Voices of Indigenous Peoples (V.I.P.) every Tuesday in the Hepburn Seminar room at 5:15. During this time, we will build relationships with one another, plan future events, and provide a sense of community for any Indigenous or Non-Indigenous Ally here at Middlebury.

    Pre-Semester Dance Workshop

    Pre-Semester Workshop is a three-day dance intensive open to all students culminating in a performance at Convocation.

    September 6th - 8th
    12:30 pm 5:30 pm on September 6th and 7th,
    12:30 pm on the 8th end Time TBA – we are performing at Convocation for First Years on the evening of the 8th around 5 pm (to be confirmed)
    You must attend all 3 days of pre-semester.
