  • Kellogg Latin Translation Exam

    Established in 1918 by Brainerd Kellogg, professor of rhetoric and English literature, 1861–1868, and trustee, 1885–1920. A prize will be awarded for the best translation from the Latin. Dictionaries will be available, open to all students.

  • Befriending Anxiety

    Anxiety serves an important function, but our nervous system doesn’t always pick the right moment or know when to stop. Each week we will look at an approach to managing anxiety, such as mindfulness-based stress reduction, cognitive behavioral therapy or polyvagal theory. We will include exercises for settling down but also for staying alert, for when we want to feel calmer, but we have things to do.
