  • Every Brilliant Thing

    Every Brilliant Thing is a heartfelt hopeful production that walks the line between stand up comedy and a one woman show. The show is an immersive experience for the audience in which a daughter creates a list of everything brilliant about the world for her mother who is struggling with depression. Starring Meili Huang and directed by Kayla Schwartz this show will be sure to tug at your heartstrings and leave you with a newfound appreciation for all of the Brilliant Things you have in your life.   • Holding Space for Climate Grief and Anxiety

    A collaboration between the Climate Action Capacity Project’s Climate Action Fellowship and The Scott Center for Spiritual & Religious Life as a way to hold space for the intense and sometimes overwhelming emotions that come with climate change.

    Tea and light snacks will be provided, as well as a journal and pen which will be used for one of the voluntary activities.

    Please note that if you drive, you should park on South Street, not along Chipman Park.  There is no parking on Chipman Park.

    Movement Matters Lecture Demonstration Subashini Ganesan-Forbes

    Join Guest Choreographer Subashini Ganesan-Forbes as she shares her expertise in Bharatanatyam Indian classical dance. She will speak on its history, her own artistic career, and how this form moves alongside contemporary dance. Subashini is a curator, choreographer, and former Creative Laureate of Portland (2018 – June 2021).

  • Slow Walk Meditation

    Since the inception of Middlebury College’s Anti-Racist Task Force, the ritual of a slow walk meditation during the opening and closing of our academic terms has been integral to our communal work. The slow walk meditation embodies our individual and collective the journeys towards internal and external change. The slow walk is a way of charting our course, recalibrating our intention, practicing patience, and connecting as a community.

    Log Rolling Practice! Come down to the Natatorium to join us at log rolling. Anyone and everyone is welcome, no experience is necessary. Log rolling is a fun sport where we try and stay on a log floating in water. You can even duel your friends and whoever stays on longer wins! Come try it out!

    Come play volleyball with us at our open gym practices! Everyone, regardless of skill level or experience, is welcome and encouraged to join. We play games and learn basic skills during our two hour open practices.

  • Rally in Support of Iranian Women

    The Feminist Resource Center at Chellis House and a group of concerned students will march in solidarity with the protests for women’s and human rights currently occurring in Iran. Participants will also have a chance to cut their hair in solidarity with women in Iran starting at 2 p.m. at Chellis House (56 Hillcrest Road). At 3:30 p.m., participants will march to Middlebury Chapel and will proceed to Twilight Hall. Signs will be provided.
