    Are you dealing with end-of-the-term challenges in this particularly trying semester—such as issues with grading, handling late work, advising students on whether to invoke the CR/NCR option or to drop a class? If so, consider joining this Office Hours for Teachers where you can problem-solve with experienced colleagues and a student life dean.

    Jim Ralph, director of CTLR and History professor, Jen Sellers, Student Life Dean, and Mike Leonard, Student Advising Head, will be on hand to respond to your queries and concerns.

    The Middlebury Initiative for Data and Digital Methods (midd.data) is pleased to present “Liberal Arts for an Information Age”, a fireside chat with Eric Schmidt, Co-founder, Schmidt Futures, who served as Google’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman from 2001 to 2011, Executive Chairman from 2011 to 2018, and most recently as Technical Advisor. The chat will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, from 7:00-8:00 PM Eastern.

    Join the student Zen Buddhist practice group every Tuesday evening for an hour of meditation and study. The group will be led by students and Joshin Byrnes, a local Zen priest and Affiliate Chaplain of the college. Come to learn about and practice Zen – no previous experience needed.
