    What happens when you take classic themes, original voices, and a whole lot of creativity — and toss them into one wildly entertaining night of theatre? You get The Truth Remixed. Also, this is the sister show to Echoes of Truth First Year show in Fall 2024.

    Inspired by the popular storytelling phenomenon The Moth, Cocoon is a special evening of true stories told live without notes. This year’s storytellers include Hafez Sami-Sadeghi ’28.5; faculty members James Fitzsimmons (Anthropology), Jerry Philogene (Black Studies), and Susan DeSimone (Biology); Director of Middlebury’s Abenaki School Jesse Bowman Bruchac, and three-time Moth GrandSLAM champion and educator Dr. Christine Gentry. They’ll all be telling stories on the theme “Before I Die,” in association with the public art installation in the lower lobby.

  • Stargazing at the Mittelman Observatory

    The Mittelman Observatory is hosting a stargazing event on the MBH roof deck from 8:00 - 10:30pm on Friday October 3rd. This event is open to Middlebury students, faculty, staff, alumni, and their families. For safety reasons, attendance is limited and registration is required. Please register for only one 45-minute stargazing time slot using the link below. Tickets are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. The event is free for all attendees. Note that this event will only take place if the sky is expected to be mostly clear.
