  • MixxedFit w/ Sarah

    MixxedFit® is a people-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning. Everything about this dance fitness program is explosive– movements are big, full-out, and our very best! As a licensed MixxedFit® instructor, Sarah combines original, easy-to-follow dance choreographies with bodyweight toning exercises to provide a dance-party-meets-HIIT group fitness experience. She is thrilled to be able to support the MIIS community access wellness in body, spirit, and mind through dance fitness!

  • Intermediate/Advanced Ballet with Barbara Doyle-Wilch

    Ballet returns to the dance program this fall. Classical ballet technique in traditional ballet class structure. No point shoes, please. Each session is open to a maximum of 14 participants.   • Africa to the Americas Showing

    Mahaney Arts Center, Dance Theatre

    Students in Christal Brown’s Fall term class, From Africa to the Americas, perform traditional works from Guinea taught by guest artist Simbo Camara and contemporary choreography that incorporates styles from the African Diaspora as well as historic excerpts from iconic black choreographies.
