Janan Alexandra is the author of Come From (BOA Editions). Her poems and essays have been published in The Kenyon Review, New England Review, the Massachusetts Review, AGNI, Gulf Coast, and elsewhere in print and online. Winner of the Adrienne Rich Award for Poetry, Janan was a Djanikian Scholar in Poetry in 2025 and has received support for her work from Hedgebrook, the Vermont Studio Center, the Mellon Foundation, the Fine Arts Work Center, and the Stadler Center for Poetry & Literary Arts.
