The annual Visual AIDS’ Day With(out) Art Video Series offers seven video works, each seven minutes long, that highlight the ongoing HIV/AIDS crisis. This year’s program places particular emphasis on those marginalized within broader Black communities nationwide, including queer and trans populations. Part of the Fridays at the Museum series.

In the past few years, Japanese anime has become part of western pop culture. A growing number of people are realizing that anime is not a genre like western animation, but rather an artistic format to tell an array of different stories. I have created a three-part series where I have rewritten the music for three different anime scenes. Each scene has a different setting in tone, starting with a nature/wholesome scene, moving to a cynical death scene, and ending on a fight scene.

Curious about what it takes to write a song? Want to improve your songwriting? Pete Francis ‘99, of the band Dispatch, will be speaking about his journey and process as a songwriter. Come learn from a seasoned songwriter about his craft, and walk away inspired to write something of your own. 

Masks optional (but welcome!). Full vaccinations and boosters (or valid medical or religious exemptions) required.

Come audition for the Middlebury College Musical Theatre Club’s Spring production of “Big Fish”.
Please prepare a 32-bar cut of your favorite musical theatre song.
Big Fish revolves around the relationship between Bloom, a traveling salesperson, and their adult child, who looks for what is behind their parent’s tall stories.
The show will rehearse in the Spring and be performed in April at the Town Hall Theatre.
