Join us for an evening of music and conversation in which Laura Burian, professor of translation and interpretation (Chinese program) and violinist, will play a few pieces together with musicians Jason Martel, Arlyn Knapic, Michael Blackburn, and Robert McNamara, and will discuss ideas and inspirations gained from performing music and interpretation with Julie Johnson, professor of translation and interpretation (French program) and researcher on mindfulness. Light refreshments to follow program.

The Center for Conflict Studies and the William Tell Coleman Library at MIIS are hosting ‘I am Troy Davis’ book club event.
