You might remember hearing about Middlebury Special Collections joining JSTOR’s shared collections program. (Here’s a refresher from 2022, “Middlebury Special Collections and JSTOR Unite!”)
Last month, JSTOR spotlighted Middlebury’s collections in a blog post titled, “Middlebury archives go global: The unexpected reach of one small college’s special collections.”
The article quotes Director and Curator Rebekah Irwin on the motivations for joining JSTOR’s platform as well as the far-reaching impact the collaboration has had on research across continents. Check out the article and browse the 75,000+ items available in Middlebury’s twenty JSTOR collections!

In yet another JSTOR blog feature, “Archival Adventures in the Abernethy Collection,” author Matthew Wills traces a journey of archival discovery through the Special Collections resources shared in partnership with JSTOR.
