Fariha holds an M.S. in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. in International Relations from Wellesley College. She has honed her skills in program development and project management in organizations as diverse as Enron, Disney, and the DC Public Schools.  Her new role as Director of Middlebury in DC calls for the creation of a strongly branded presence for Middlebury in Washington, DC, with robust and durable links to the Middlebury and Monterey campuses and their programs.

Fariha envisions increased opportunities to connect with our alumni, to leverage their networks for student internships and careers, and to engage prospective students.  The space in DC has offices that can be used by Middlebury and Monterey visitors and a classroom/conference room with videoconferencing capability, and can thus provide faculty with a “home base” for academic events, programs, and projects.
