Kathryn Morse was educated at Brookline High School in Brookline, Massachusetts, and at Yale University, Utah State University, and the University of Washington. She teaches courses in United States history and the environmental humanities broadly defined, with particular focus on the history of the American West, and United States Environmental History. At Middlebury, she has served on the Educational Affairs Committee, the Promotions Committee, and as Chair of History and Director of Environmental Studies.
