About Our Office

The Office of Student Financial Services (SFS) is a one-stop destination for both prospective and returning students attending all of Middlebury’s Colleges and Programs. The SFS staff is here to assist students and their parents/guardians in understanding the aid application process, financing options available, billing and payments, student employment, and more. Whether or not you receive financial aid, we are here to help families figure out how to pay for college. We are confident that a Middlebury education is one of the best investments you can make.

We individually review 100 percent of the need-based financial aid applications from students and commit to meeting 100 percent of each admitted Middlebury College undergraduate student’s demonstrated financial need.

The Office of Student Financial Services staff is committed to the highest standards of professional conduct. We are members of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) and follow the Code of Conduct and Statement of Ethical Principles for its members as well as the student loan code of conduct required by the Higher Education Opportunity Act.
