Summer 2026 Implementation of Projects for Peace
September 16, 2026 2026 Cohort Final Reflections due to Projects for Peace headquarters.

Campus liaisons support grantees in the completion of report elements (narrative, expenses, photos) and ensure submission according to Projects for Peace guidance.
Fall 2026

Campus liaison coordinates with school leadership to:

  • Establish selection process and campus-specific criteria and/or procedures.
  • Promote opportunity among students, including inviting previous grantees to share their experience and mentor interested applicants.
  • Determine membership of campus selection committee. 
September 24, 2026 Annual invitation for participation.
October 23, 2026 2027 Participation Agreement form due to Projects for Peace headquarters. 
December 2026/January 2027 Student proposals submitted to the campus liaison and assessed by the campus selection committee. One winner and one alternate are selected.
February 3, 2027 Winning proposal and nominated alternate due to Projects for Peace headquarters.
March 3, 2027 Campus liaisons notified of preliminary decisions by Projects for Peace; request for funding agreements and any additional information.
March 24, 2027

Project Funding Agreements due to Projects for Peace headquarters.

  • Participating Institution Funding  Agreement.
  • Participating Student Funding Agreement (one from each student is required).
March 31, 2027 2027 Projects for Peace final cohort announced.
April 2027 Grant funds are disbursed to partner institutions by electronic transfer.
