View Alternate PINs 

  • Go to the Faculty and Advisor Services menu in Banner 9 self-service
  • Click Current Advisee List
  • Select Term
  • If an Alt PIN is assigned to a student in the selected term, it will appear here 

Entering Overrides & Approvals

  • Go to the Faculty and Advisor Services menu in Banner 9 self-service
  • Under the Student Advising menu, click Registration Overrides
  • Select Term
  • Enter Student ID & click submit
  • Click on student name
  • Select Override & Course
  • Click Submit
  • Click Back to ID Selection to enter another waiver

View Class Rosters 

  • Go to the Faculty and Advisor Services menu in Banner 9 self-service
  • Under the Class Management menu, click Class List
  • Select Term
  • In the Subject Column, click on course
  • In the Summary Class List block, click the Class List tab 

View my Class Schedule & Classrooms 

  • Go to the Faculty and Advisor Services menu in Banner 9 self-service
  • Under the Class Management menu, click either Faculty Week at a Glance or Detail Schedule 

View Wait Lists (link to Registration for Faculty, WL section) 

  • Go to the Faculty and Advisor Services menu in Banner 9 self-service
  • Under the Class Management menu, click Class List
  • Select Term
  • In the Subject Column, click on course
  • In the Summary Class List block, click the Wait List tab 

Advising Related Items 

View Advisee (by student) 

  • Go to the Faculty and Advisor Services menu in Banner 9 self-service
  • Under the Student Advising menu, click Search for Student
  • Select the current term and enter full ID including two leading 0’s
  • Note: if you don’t know the ID, you can copy it from the Current Advisee link/chart
  • Click the student’s name
  • You are now on the Student Profile page.  From here you can:
    • Review a student’s curriculum and term registration
    • View AP/IB test scores
    • Access the Degree Progress Worksheet via the DegreeWorks link in the menu
    • View the unofficial transcript via the View Grades link in the menu 

View Advisees (all advisees in list form) 

  • Go to the Faculty and Advisor Services menu in Banner 9 self-service
  • Under the Student Advising menu, click Advising Student Profile
  • Select Term
  • Search for a specific student OR click View My Advisee Listing
  • From here you can click on each individual student to see their student profile page
  • To get back to your list, click Advisee Listing in the breadcrumbs on top of the window 

Grading 

Entering Grades  

  • Go to the Faculty and Advisor Services menu in Banner 9 self-service
  • Under the Class Management menu, click Faculty Grade Entry
  • On the Final Grades tab, select course
  • In the Final Grades column, assign a grade for each student
  • On the bottom of the roster, click save 

NOTE: Grades can be changed by the instructor in Banner 9 until the grade window closes.  Requests for undergraduate grade changes after the grading window closes must be filed with the Administration Committee
