Programs and Events
The Student Engagement Office team plans and runs numerous campus-wide events. Examples include film screenings, Nocturne, and spikeball and pool tournaments.
Outdoor Programs
Middlebury Outdoor Programs (MOP) promotes leadership development, outdoor skills, environmental stewardship, and community through outdoor recreation and experiential learning. By offering trips, leadership training, equipment access, and support for student outdoor organizations, MOP helps students build confidence, foster meaningful connections, and engage with the natural environment both on and off campus. MOP also emphasizes accessibility and inclusion, working to ensure that outdoor experiences are welcoming and available to students from all backgrounds and levels of experience.

Highlight: New Website and Improved Collaboration
Middlebury Outdoor Programs (MOP) developed a new website this year to centralize and streamline program advertising, information, and communication, thus reducing digital access barriers.
Fostering effective collaboration between student organizations and groups is a key area of emphasis for the Programming and Events team. This year, considerable effort was devoted to enhancing collaboration and communication between the Middlebury College Activities Board (MCAB) and the Student Government Association (SGA). We are proud of the efforts thus far by the leadership of both organizations and their advisors to strengthen the relationship and work harmoniously toward enhancing student social life.
