Fall and Spring Semester Calendar Updates and New Class Scheduling Slots

Grace Spatafora, Dean of Curriculum, sent out a notice on 10/25/21 that the registration was shifted to allow for days between the Winter and Spring Semester registration and advising periods.

The announcement also included new class scheduling slots on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 12:30 - 1:20 pm. The new slots and scheduling guidelines outlined in the announcement are to help further distribute classes throughout the five-day week and reduce the number of classes in the Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 am - 12:15 pm slot. The course time changes encouraged are to reduce the strain on both students and dining staff with the long wait lines after the Tuesday and Thursday 12:15 pm release when “about 1600 students are dismissed from classes.”
