Udall Scholarship in Environmental Studies

This scholarship is awarded annually to students majoring in a field related to the environment. Approximately 80 students from across the United States are awarded the $5,000 scholarship.

Relevant students are sophomores or juniors (and U.S. citizens or permanent resident aliens) with a B or better average. Middlebury can nominate up to six students for these scholarships, and the College has had a winner each year that we have participated. The past Udall winners at Middlebury were:

The internal deadline for this program is mid-January. For more information, contact Arlinda Wickland in the Office of Student Fellowships and Scholarships or faculty representative Chris McGrory Klyza, Political Science and Environmental Studies. You can also visit the Udall Foundation's webpage.
