Julia Ludewig works as an adjunct for the Department of German and Russian Studies at Binghamton University where she teaches German to beginners. She is also a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Comparative Literature and has taught literature classes. She holds a B.A. degree in Cultural Studies (University of Frankfurt/Oder, Germany) and an M.A. degree in European Linguistics (University of Freiburg, Germany). Her research interests include literature and linguistics. She is currently working on her dissertation, which looks at schools of literary criticism as types of textual practice.
