Christina (Tina) Ellison received her BA in Music from Middlebury College and has worked as the Coordinator of the German School since 2001. Before that, she taught Spanish and German at the White Mountain School in New Hampshire and worked as a paralegal in various law firms in Burlington and Middlebury, Vermont. In 2013, she published a new translation of the German classic "Wir Kinder vom Bahnhof Zoo" into English. It was her first translation of a major work and earned her favorable reviews from Publishers Weekly, among others. In her free time she likes to run, hike, ski, kayak, fly airplanes, shoot sporting clays, play cello, bow hunt, travel, raise orphaned animals, garden, read, concoct new martini recipes, tell bad jokes, and spend time with her fiancee, son, and dog at home in Cornwall.
