Muhammad Habib is currently a doctoral candidate in Arabic language at Al-Azhar University. He holds an MA and two BA degrees from Al-Azhar University, one in Islamic studies and education and the other in Arabic language and linguistics. He has studied the art of Arabic calligraphy at the Calligraphy Institute in Cairo. His research interests include Arabic linguistics, syntax, and morphology. He has taught at the American University in Cairo and currently is an instructor in Arabic at Duke University.
