Tamer Hussein


Tamer Hussein is a lecturer in Arabic at the American University in Cairo (AUC). He received his M.A. in TAFL (Teaching Arabic as a Foreign Language) at AUC and his B.A. in English language and literature at Cairo University. He also completed graduate studies in translation from English into Arabic and vice versa. At AUC, he has taught all levels of Egyptian Colloquial and Modern Standard Arabic, in addition to courses on Arabic media, culture, and spoken Fusha. His field of interest is pragmatics and discourse analysis.
