Tiziana Serafini is the Director of the Italian Language Program at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.

She received her Doctorate from UCLA. While living in Los Angeles, she taught at UCLA, the University of Southern California, Santa Monica College, and Los Angeles City College.

Her current responsibilities include coordinating and supervising four levels of Italian instruction, as well as teaching elementary and intermediate language courses.

Her research focuses on Foreign Language Pedagogy, Contemporary Italian Poetry, Theory and Practice of Translation, and Teaching Italian Literature, Culture and Language to Undergraduates.
