I recently moved to the United States and received my M.A. in educational technologies from Michigan State in 2011. In Russia I completed my Ph.D. (equivalent) in Russian linguistics in 2006 at Volgograd State Pedagogical University and subsequently taught Russian to incoming students in the preparatory faculty of Volgograd State Technical University. In that time I also helped organize study abroad trips to Volgograd for students from Michigan State University and McMaster University. I am interested in the history of world cinema, particularly American and Soviet, and classical literature. This will be my first year working at Middlebury, and I'm very excited to be a bilingual assistant in this unique institution.
