I am native of St. Petersburg, Russia, where I graduated from St. Petersburg State University. I received my PhD in Russian linguistics there (with a research interest is studying Russian idioms and comparative phraseology) and taught at the same university for several years before I moved to Lebanon with my family. I have taught the Russian language in different programs, including regular, intensive, or short-term summer intensive courses for foreign students. I taught Intermediate Russian during the 2012 Critical Languages Institute at Arizona State University. In Lebanon, besides giving practical Russian courses at St. Joseph University of Beirut and the Russian Cultural Center, I arrange lots of cultural and educational activities (including the annual Students' Festival "Tatiana's Day" and a 2-week educational trip to St.Petersburg). I am keen on singing, acting, reading, and walking.
