Andres Peralta, from Mexico, has worked in the film and audiovisual field for the past nine years. Andres started out as a member of the film collective FAVA (Film and Video Arts Alberta), located in the province of Alberta in Canada, working as a production assistant in several productions (films, commercials, music videos, video art performances, etc.).
He finished a film program in 2011 in Mexico City. That same year, he was part of the group of winners of the XI National Short Film Project Competition organized by IMCINE with his project "El Jazz." This short film was selected and screened at numerous festivals and exhibitions around the world, most notably the Guadalajara Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.
In 2013, he was selected to participate in the fifth edition of Talent Campus Guadalajara, organized by the Guadalajara International Film Festival in collaboration with the Berlinale Talent Campus the Ibermedia program, the FIPRESCI, and the Goethe Institut Mexico . Currently, Andres continues to develop multiple and personal film projects and is currently in post-production of a new short film "La Mala Noche."
