The Controller’s Office reviews all grant proposal budgets and blue sheets for funding that will be administered through the College, or that entail a College commitment, and provides the final signature on the College endorsement form (blue sheet). Usually the Grants Accountant signs, but the Controller can also sign the blue sheet.

The Controller's Office signature on the blue sheet constitutes approval to submit the proposal to the grantor.

Some proposals may also require approval from the Vice President for Academic Affairs or the Vice President for Finance & Treasurer.

The Grants Accountant (or Controller) also signs all proposals that require the signature of an Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR).
