We oversee programs designed to enhance students’ college lives through social, cultural, spiritual, educational, student government, and physical cocurricular experiences. Student Activities is committed to helping students connect with one another and to facilitating involvement in a wide variety of activities.
The Student Activities Team provides support for more than 150 student organizations, develops student leaders, and advises students in producing dozens of programs a year. We are located on the first and second floor of the McCullough Student Center. Drop by anytime!
Middlebury has over 150 student organizations including a capella, debate, publications, visual arts, club sports, recreation organizations, community service, food, cultural organizations, academics, religious and spiritual life, and politics. The Student Activities Team serves as managers and advisors for all registered student organizations, as well as students who wish to start a new organization on campus.
The SGA represents students in decision-making processes of the College. It acts as a single unified group addressing problems facing the student body and the campus community. It is the official channel for student participation in formulation of institutional policy affecting academic and student affairs.
The largest student programming body on campus, MCAB plans everything from concerts and film screenings to speakers and Winter Carnival. MCAB is always open to questions, comments, and suggestions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Middlebury campus is spectacularly positioned between the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. This location gives us easy access to a remarkable array of outdoor environments and classrooms.
Here’s your chance to broaden your horizons or develop a new interest! This January you can participate in winter term workshops offered by Student Activities—open to the entire College community—and make the most of winter term.
McCullough Student Center was established in 1991 to serve the community by providing events, programming space, meeting space, information, food services, and a relaxing environment.
Environmental stewardship is an integral part of the Middlebury experience. It’s visible in the habits of individuals, the actions of multiple sustainability-related student groups, and in overall institutional initiatives.
