Connections Are Everything

More than a networking event, Middlebury Career Connections was where Middlebury’s community came alive through shared stories, guidance, and the start of lifelong professional relationships.

On October 3, 2025, the Johnson Memorial Building buzzed with activity as more than 45 alumni and parent volunteers returned to campus for Middlebury Career Connections,an evening designed to spark meaningful conversations between students and professionals from across industries. Over light snacks and lively discussion, students explored new career paths, and built relationships.

Co-sponsored by the Family Philanthropy Circle and the Center for Careers and Internships, this event celebrated what makes Middlebury’s network so powerful: curiosity, generosity, and a shared commitment to helping students with what’s next.

  • Tuck Business Bridge Info Session (Thursday, November 6th 2025, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST)

    When: Thursday, November 6th 2025, 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST Location: Axinn Center , 104, 15 Old Chapel Rd, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States Learn about Tuck Business Bridge from Will Conroy. Held at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, Tuck Business Bridge is a 3-week total immersion business program designed to prepare top liberal arts and STEM students for challenging careers. With a comprehensive business core curriculum, taught by the Tuck School of Business's top-ranked MBA faculty, a capstone team project, and one-on-one guidance from the Tuck's Career Development Office, the Tuck Business Bridge Program® can give participants the skills and confidence necessary to get a job and succeed. Four sessions are available - December, January (virtual), and two during the summer. First-years*, Sophomores, juniors, and seniors, as well as graduates in their first summer post-graduation are eligible to apply. First-years can apply for summer sessions only.     When: Friday, November 7th 2025, 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm EST Location: Davis Library , 201/Watson Lecture Hall , 110 Storrs Ave, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States BCE Consulting’s Lizzie Schaeppi '07 and Greta Hannam '24 are coming to campus to hold an informational session so you can learn about the work BCE does and the upcoming analyst and intern roles that they are recruiting for starting in 2026.BCE Consulting is hosting this interactive workshop for students to participate in, so you can discover how to translate the skills you are already developing in the social sciences and humanities to different industries in consulting. In this workshop, you will learn about the daily work of an analyst at BCE, develop a research framework, and analyze and synthesize data into meaningful results.  LUNCH PROVIDED!What BCE is looking for: You are energetic and motivated, enjoy collaborative work environments, are up for a challenge, and seek opportunities to have a sizable impact. What BCE offers: BCE offers an opportunity to be part of a growing firm, helping clients solve their most challenging business problems.     When: Friday, November 7th 2025, 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm EST Location: Axinn Center , 229, 15 Old Chapel Rd, Middlebury, Vermont 05753, United States As an undergraduate international student there are tips to keep in mind through the process of finding a post-graduate job, especially if you are wanting and planning to stay here in the US. This workshop will help you become more aware of your options and provide a platform for you to discuss questions you might have and learn about tips to make your search more meaningful. Join staff from the International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) and Center for Careers and Internships (CCI) who can bring you up to speed on your options and tools to assist you.Bring your questions!
