Funding

How do I find funding for my internship, research, project, senior work, graduate study ... you fill in the blank!

There are many resources through different offices at Middlebury and external agencies and foundations to help you pursue what you want to do. Start by looking here:

Internships

Middlebury does offer funds to support students interested in unpaid summer internships.  CSO administers the application process.  Check out  Funding for Unpaid Summer Internships for more information.

Student-Initiated Projects

Students can find funding for independent, non-credit bearing projects through many sources including:

Cross-Cultural Community Service Fund provides grants to support international service opportunities.

Civic Engagement Mini-Grant program offers funding for student initiatives involving community action and service.

David S. Stone ’74 Tree House Fund provides funding for one or several creative student projects that benefit Middlebury students, the environment, or the community.

Davis Projects for Peace is an initiative for students to design their own grassroots projects for peace that they themselves will implement anywhere in the world.

Environmental Council Grants Program funds project proposals related to sustainability. Preference is given to proposals that address issues related to transportation alternatives, and food and dining.
