Professional Background: Peggy worked in the publishing field in New York City and Philadelphia before moving to Vermont in 1998.  After a five-year stint as the executive director of a local nonprofit that advanced participative democracy, Peggy joined Middlebury in 2005 to work in civic engagement. She graduated from Georgetown University with a major in English and a minor in history.
