Thiel Fellowship Program for Young Entrepreneurs
Deadline for this cycle has passed but look again in October 2013. Candidates must be 19 years old or younger as of December 31st of the application year. Finalists are selected in the spring and fellows announced in May.
Thiel Fellowships provide two-year grants of $100,000 to twenty people under 20 years of age so that they can leave the classroom and pursue innovation. Thiel Fellows are given a no-strings-attached grant to skip college and focus on their work, their research, and their self-education. They are mentored by our network of visionary thinkers, investors, scientists, and entrepreneurs, who provide guidance and business connections that can’t be replicated in any classroom.
